In 1921, nearly 100 years ago, Amelia was taking her first flying lesson, a first step to a big dream. The adversity she faced was excuse enough for anyone to quit. As simple as it is, the down-to-business flavor of the quote is exactly how she became the first woman to fly non-stop across the Atlantic. As we turn a leaf to a new year, lets take heed of her words. 2020 has left most of us with plenty of time to ruminate and come to realize what we hold dear. Let us keep that clarity and charge forward, if but one step at a time. 2021 is a new Year, one we all need. Let’s make it roar like 100 years before (let’s just avoid the whole prohibition diversion) !
